SMOKEIRON stands behind the RS4 as a heavy-duty outdoor fire-cooking product built for real use.

Limited Warranty

SMOKEIRON warrants the RS4 against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the original purchase date.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects that affect the safe or intended use of the product under normal outdoor cooking conditions.

What Is Covered

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:

  • Defective welds
  • Structural failure caused by workmanship defects
  • Missing or incorrect components
  • Hardware or fit-up issues caused by manufacturing error

If a valid warranty issue is confirmed, SMOKEIRON may repair the product, replace the defective part, replace the product, or provide another reasonable solution at SMOKEIRON’s discretion.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or wear caused by:

  • Normal use, heat exposure, discoloration, surface rust, oxidation, or finish changes
  • Misuse, neglect, abuse, modification, or improper assembly
  • Indoor use or use in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces
  • Use as a space heater
  • Overloading, impact damage, dropping, or improper transport
  • Use with fuels or materials not recommended in the safety manual
  • Failure to follow the SMOKEIRON RS4 Safety & Operating Manual
  • Consumable surfaces, cosmetic marks, scratches, dents, or wear from cooking and fire exposure

The RS4 uses a living heat-finished steel surface. Colour changes, darkening, oil burn-off, seasoning changes, and surface oxidation are expected with use and are not considered defects.

Outdoor Use Only

The SMOKEIRON RS4 is for outdoor use only.

Never use the RS4 indoors, inside tents, garages, campers, enclosed shelters, or partially enclosed spaces.

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in property damage, injury, or death and may void warranty coverage.

Warranty Claims

To start a warranty claim, contact SMOKEIRON with:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Photos of the issue
  • A description of what happened
  • Photos of the full product setup if requested

SMOKEIRON may request additional photos, video, or return of the affected part before approving a warranty claim.

Limitation

This warranty is limited to the SMOKEIRON product itself. SMOKEIRON is not responsible for incidental or consequential damage, including damage to cookware, property, vehicles, campsites, structures, or personal belongings.
